"Star Wars: Darth Maul: Death Sentence #3" Plot Summary

Writer: Tom Taylor

Darth Maul is teaching the natives of Moorjhone how to fight. Ja'Boag has forced the Moorjhoni from their hole in order to mine it. Tomorrow, when the three suns rise, the entire surface of Moorjhone will burn, including the Moorjhoni.

Ja'Boag has Savage Opress in carbonite as a decoration in his office.

Trisjon, Jatenne's grandfather, privately looks into Darth Maul's heart and sees only evil. Darth Maul kills him before he can tell anyone.

Master Judd informs the Jedi Council about Ja'Boag's actions and the danger the Moorjhoni are in. The Council sends Obi-Wan Kenobi and his clone troopers to assist in defeating Ja'Boag and his private security.

Maul and the Moorjhoni attack the mine just as Kenobi lands. Kenobi orders the Moorjhoni to stop fighting so that he can sort things out and orderly enter the mine. But Maul convinces the Moorjhoni that the Jedi are working for Ja'Boag and incites them to attack Kenobi and the troopers.

Kenobi tries to stop the troopers from firing back, but it's too late.
